This year we are proud to annouce SCG raised over $450.00, the money was donated to the local Cancer Society. The staff provided a wonderful assortment of goodies for the Bake Sale. The cake pictured was made by one of the SCG Spouses, he did an amazing job in decorating this cake which was taken home by a patient who gave a generous $50.00 donation. Thank you to our fantastic staff and amazing patients for helping to raise money and awareness.
2010 Wear Red Day
February 5, 2010 was National Wear Red Day. Stuart Cardiology Group held our annual Bake Sale offering goodies for donations. This year we raised over $360.00 for the American Heart Associations. Heart Disease is the number one killer of with 1 in 3 women dying from cardiovascular disease. We hope to increase our fundraiser to $500 next year so keep your eyes open in February 2011.

Stuart Cardiology Group has been ranked 73rd in the Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare. This is a nationally ranked list and the second annual for Best Places to Work in Healthcare.
A total of 317 companies participate in this year’s workplace listing. Companies from all over the 50 states who entered this program we required to complete survey’s outlining the company’s policies, practices, benefits and demographics. Each employee was asked an in-depth set of questions that resulted in an analysis in eight (8) key areas: leadership and planning, culture and communications, role satisfaction, working environment, relationship with supervisor, training and development, pay and benefits and overall satisfaction. The program is open to providers, suppliers, payers, associations, etc. in healthcare with at least 25 employees.
